Now it’s not all about the science and cook, a greater emphasis is on communicating what you have done, both in written and verbal form.  Experiments and cooking dishes are fun but also a tool to get the students to associate pleasure with communicating their thoughts.  Parents should think of this class more as a fun English class rather than a Master Chef class.  But don’t worry, there is plenty of cooking and science too.
